Niagara Falls - the most famous waterfall in the world.

Niagara Falls dates back 10.000 years and was created at the end of the last ice age. It allows the flow of water from Lake Erie to located 100 m below Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls is not the highest, widest and largest waterfall in the world, but certainly the most famous. Its power and beauty strikes everyone who sees it.

The waterfall is located on the Niagara River and Goat Island is separated into two parts: the eastern (American Falls) with a width of 323 m and height of 56 m and 94% water gathering part of the western (Canadian Falls and Horseshoe Falls), forming a large semicircle of width of 675 m and a height of 54 m. The waterfall American road leads to the Grotto of the Winds hollow by flowing water.
